Requirements for Certification in California
Once you have decided to attend a Pharmacy Technician Program in California, in order to apply for Certification one of the following requirements must be completed and submitted with your application. To obtain Certification, you must have: An Affidavit of Completed Coursework from an Accredited Pharmacy Technician Program in California; or an Associates Degree in Pharmacy Technology; or Any course with 240 hours of training as specified in Title 16 of the California Code of Regulation section 1793.6 ©; or a course accredited by the American Society of Health System Pharmacist; or graduated from a school of pharmacy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.
